- Magna 20 Minute Mentor
UTHSC subscribes to “20 Minute Mentor”, a series of short videos related to effective teaching and learning practices and Magna Commons, longer online asynchronous workshops. Anyone with an @uthsc.edu email address can subscribe for free.
To register and log in to access the group subscription:
- Go to https://www.magnapubs.com/register/. Enter information in the required fields > Submit. NOTE: if you get an error that your password does not match, skip down to the EXISTING USERS Section below
- Once successfully registered, you will see a screen “Thank you for completing your registration”
- Go to https://www.magnapubs.com/profile/join-sitelicense/082817b50f4da2239662a0540c0ca82d
- On the right side of the page, in the “Username or email address” box, enter the email address that you submitted in Step 1.
- Enter your password > Login
- On the My Account page > Join Team
- On the My Online Access page click the appropriate orange “Go to…” box for access
- National Center for Faculty Development and DiversityNCFDD provides a variety of virtual programs and resources including multi-week courses; core curriculum webinars; guest expert webinars; private discussion forums for peer-mentoring, problem solving, and moderated writing challenges; and access to NCFDD’s extensive member library. - Quality MattersQuality Matters (QM) is geared towards those who teach online, either synchronously or asynchronously. This web site has resources provided at no cost to instructors who register with their @uthsc.edu email address. It includes workshops, documents, and rubrics to use in developing and running an online course.
